Man tries to steal gun to ‘Rescue Schiavo’
It’s amazing how major news stories like the Schiavo case “bring out the best in humanity.” *tongue in cheek*
I think my favorite line from this story was “If you’re not on Terri’s side then you’re not on God’s side either.” How arrogant is that, to claim that you know expicitly what God’s position on this whole thing is? I think there are too many factors involved in this case to know for certain where God would stand. There is too much he said, she said; too much information on both sides to properly conclude anything about this case. Therefore, I find it very difficult in light of that to say for certain that you know where God would stand. It also doesn’t help your case when you say these things after you break the law…I’m sure what you did, holding up a gun store with a box cutter and whatever else you had planned were not in line with where God would stand, but that’s because they’re explicitly against the law. Schiavo’s case is in the gray area of our society right now…
