quarter-life crisis update:
as my venture through this quarter-life crisis speeds up to a crawl, i thought i might share a resource that i’ve found to be very helpful, encouraging and thought provoking in pondering the vast array of vocational possibilities that stare me down. okay, so maybe there isn’t a vast array of possibilities and it is quite possible that i’ve narrowed it down to a few…but that’s my little secret for now as i struggle through these questions. parker palmer’s book ‘let your life speak: listening for the voice of vocation’ has been extremely helpful and beneficial bringing in a great deal of clarity to an otherwise muddy picture. as i continue to listen, i covet your prayers. prayers for clarity, prayers for wisdom and direction, who knows i might speed up to a walk!
