i like saturday night live. i think it’s funny–some of the time at least. but i’m beginning to dislike it an awful lot, not because any of the content is offensive, or lackluster; not because the characters stink or the writting blows; not because the musical guests suck or the hosts can’t act in sketch comedies… no, it’s none of those things.

i’m beginning to dislike snl more and more for one simple reason. i’m tired of watching re-runs. snl has been nothing but re-runs for the past month and tonight there’s actually a live episode. i should be excited about that right? well, i am… but then they preview the next live episode… april 8th. another friggin’ month of re-runs. why not just cancel the stupid thing if they’re only going to do 6 live shows a year–i think that’s about how many have been done since the season started… maybe we’ll get 2-3 more before the summer break!
