1906 All Over Again?
Just thinking out loud here. I feel (I don’t have any hard data on this) that there is another massive split coming for the Stone-Campbell/Restoration Movement. In some ways, it feels like this split has already occurred. It’s based on ideology/theology/politics, and I don’t know if geography plays a part, or if it’s just a coincidence…
maybe i’m naive, maybe i’m aloof to the suggestion but has anyone else noticed anything along these lines? this kind of caught me a bit by surprise and i’m not saying it’s not possible, but i haven’t seen anything to suggest this is even possible… but then again i’ve never been to the North American, I’ve never really participated in “denominational alliances”, etc.

here’s a great link to a post written by travis stanley outlining some of the division talk… although there may have been talks about a unity effort at the latest North American, it seems there are many that oppose such a thing which in fact could lead to a split within the CoC.
