gentry posted on his blog a link to a wonderful post about praying the psalms in their entirety… not missing a single verse, including the laments and the curses (which in and of itself is a very interesting thought). reading her account and her reflections captured my heart. i’ve recently been reading bonhoeffer’s life together: the classic exploration of faith in community and her words brought life and flesh to the ideas presented by bonhoeffer in the second chapter where he details at length the importance of a community praying the psalms together.
