this is a good short video of driscoll describing some of the threads of practice and thought in the emerging church.  an interesting point that he makes (i think for the first time publicly) is he makes a distinction between emergent and the emerging church.  and then in an interesting turn of events he credits the missional strain of thought within the emerging church to only those that hold to the reformed theology position… which is interesting cause i hold to the missional strain of thought, but wouldn’t consider myself in the reformed camp… but i’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he’s not being absolutist with his statement!
