religious nuts ecstatic over middle east turmoil

as a result of a previous post many of you have asked for the places that i’ve seen the jubilation over the war in the middle east and the belief that it is the end of days.  so, here’s a snippet and a couple of links:

Harper’s has posted messages from the Rapture Ready/End Times chat bulletin board.  These folks are as happy as can be that Israel and Hezbollah are fighting because that means they’re one step closer to the Rapture.

Got that dancing feeling on the inside of me.

This is the busiest I’ve ever seen this website in a few years!  I have been having rapture dreams and I can’t believe that this is really it!  We are on the edge of eternity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

***

Whoa!  I can sure feel the glory bumps after reading this thread!

***

I too am soooo excited!! I get goose bumps, literally, when I watch what’s going on in the M.E.!! And Watcherboy, you were so right when saying it was quite a day yesterday, in the world news, and I add in local news here in the Boston area!! Tunnel ceiling collapsed on a car and killed a woman of faith, and we had the most terrifying storms I have ever seen here!! But, yes, oh happy day, like in your screen name , it is most indeed a time to be happy and excited, right there with ya!!

    That is truly tragic.

  • Josh says:

Not tryin’ to make any assumptions but…..I’m not so sure THEY should be that excited about the coming. Know what I mean?

  • rags says:

I’m not sure what this proves other than that Internet chats rooms are full of crazies.

  • Daniel says:

Someone’s been getting into the Sacred Wine at the local church lately.

  • Erik says:

Wow! I wonder how many times we as followers of Jesus come across like this in situations?

  • J3 says:

Go ye therefore and look forward to the rapture…that’s what it says, right?

  • Tommy says:

I am not sure if I have ever had “glory bumps”. Sounds aweful. Do they make a cream for that.

  • Tommy says:

Sorry, I just realized I spelled ‘awful’ wrong. Just trying to stress the AWE. Wink. Wink.

  • child in christ says:

The bible does state that Christ will return and rapture his church
as the bible states…no one may know the hour or the day for I will come like a thief in the night. However it does tell us we will know the season. Right now we are seeing biblical prophesy coming true or havent you noticed the increase of activity in the middle east and the increase of weather phenomena? Do you believe that Christ died on the cross for your sin? Im sure there are some of you who are christians…Dont you believe christ will come again? IT STATES IT IN THE BIBLE!

  • monts says:

if you could show me where it says in the bible that ‘increased weather phonomena’ and ‘increased activity in the middle east’ are the specific precursors to christ’s return i sure would appreciate it… all my bible searches come up with no results.

plus, how are you defining ‘increased weather phenomena’? cause this year is a “down year” for hurricanes… doesn’t look like much of an “increase” to me…. not to mention other types of ‘weather phenomena’…
