a practical suggestion…

so, i’ve been the interim sr. pastor now for a whopping 4 days and there’s one class that i wish would’ve been offered as an elective in bible college: a class on church finances.  i think that would’ve been very helpful for me to help navigate through the rough waters of a financially unstable situation and a very difficult one at that… at least providing some resources and insight…

i’m not sure that a class like this would help a lot of people, but i’m sure there are a bunch out there that it would!

    Amen to that!

I am sure that this would be helpful for you at this time in your ministry. I was fortunate to be at a Bible College that offers and is mandatory for all Pastoral Ministry Majors to have a class “Church Finance and Resource”. It was truly transformational for me in regards to what I need to look forward to in the future. If there is anything in particular that I can help you with or questions about just let me know.

what bible college was that that made it mandatory?

    that’s a pretty good idea!

hmmm, what questions do i have… well, a lot… so many in fact that i don’t really know where to begin! how bout emailing me all the stuff you have from your class! :)

or you could just give me some suggested books to check out and read on the subject! anything would be much appreciated!
