i’m a little afraid to admit this… but here goes nothing. i’m a closet soccer fan. that’s right, i said it… i like soccer… and with the news of david beckham leaving real madrid for the US my excitement level grew.
now, i haven’t really followed much about MLS, but i really do dig the premier league in europe. in fact, a few weeks ago i got to watch a replay of the manchester united game vs. chelsea… and then again the united game against aresnal. both really fun games to watch!
i guess it all started a few years back with the world cup and took off this year. so, now it’s out there… my confession has been made. i am a soccer fan… and i’m really excited about beckham coming to the states.

and i have a strange, pseudo sexual, attraction to the premier league as well. i’ve always thought english soccer fans approach their sport the right way. when it comes to sporting events i’ll take hooligans over corporate wastes any day.
they’re still playing soccer? that is so awesome. anyway, since you obviously don’t keep up with your MySpace, when is a good weekend in March to do the draft, Mr. League Champion?

One last thing- as a youth minister, that Tickle-me-Emo video you had up awhile ago may have been the best thing ever.
