okay, so after a quirky turn of events it seems that cingular, who had only a couple of years ago bought at&t wireless, is now being bought out by the very company it just bought out? this is all so very confusing… let colbert explain the whole thing:

Hey, that’s great news! I always thought Glenn should sue Cingular on behalf of Cross Point Church, which had the Cingular logo before Cingular did. In fact, I think they stole it from me directly (I designed the logo).
Weird, I was just going to blog about something similar with Cingular, but man that Colbert was hilarious! Too funny…too bad their service SUCKS!
down here in the sticks cingular is great… nextel on the other hand blows. you can’t get a signal anywhere. you could be 3 feet from a tower and still not get any reception! but then again… i’m sure that’s the case for cingular in other areas of the country!
