alright, so i’ve ventured into a brand new world—the world of skype, and i’m looking forward to utilizing this fun little internet tool. skype is this instant messaging software that allows you to basically make phone calls all over the internet—and it looks pretty sweet.
on my about me page you’ll see a fun little doodad that will show you whether or not i’m online and what not—just like my AIM icon. it looks a little something like this:

Ole Skype. This thing saved me and Anne relationship when she lived in Paris last fall. We would talk for hours for free, its pretty sweet. So if Tracy ever moves to France, this will be nice.

Not sure what your experience was Matt, but mine along with a HIGH majority of my friends who have used it was absolute crap. Terrible call quality and constant drop calls, etc… But I guess when you work for a telco company and dont have to pay for phone use at all, my view may be slanted a bit!
