this week is going to be a very busy one, so there probably won’t be very much posting… let me give you a little run-down on the week ahead:
tuesday: i’ll be driving up to chicago to peak my head in at community and then venture even further north to the harbor to pay a little visit to the guys at north point… when i get home, the evening will be filled with lots of packing.
wednesday: i’ll be driving down to st. louis to drop off our wonderful boys at my parents house for some puppy-sitting (2 1/2 weeks)… and again when i get home, the evening will be filled with lots of packing.
thursday: i’ll be picking up the u-haul and we’ll load the remaining contents of our house (we’ve sold a great deal of what we own) into the u-haul and spend our last night in our very first (and quite possibly last) house.
friday: at 10am we’ll drive over to the title company and sign away our house. at 11am we’ll drive the u-haul up to aurora unload the remaining contents of our house into the “climate controlled” storage unit, drop off the truck, jump in the car and drive 6 hours to alton, illinois for a weekend family reunion with tracy’s family.
saturday & sunday: family reunion time…
monday: drive to st. louis for a cook-out with my family before returning “home”.
tuesday: things should somewhat return back to “normal”… and at this point, we’ll be staying for 2 weeks in an all-expenses paid corporate townhouse in Decatur—Tracy’s company is footing the bill—and then we move up and in to our apartment in Aurora on June 9th where my brother will meet us to help us move-in and bring us the much needed company of our dogs. needless to say it’s going to be a busy week and blogging will more than likely be non-existent. i’m sure we’ll have some fun stories when it’s over though!
do you think we’re trying to cram too much in?!
