My wife was recently in Mexico City on a business trip and saw people living in abject poverty… and a church with gold-plated doors (literally.) What do lavish structures or expecting God to bless you financially or physically have to do with the life that Jesus has called us to live?

Powerful. He couldn’t be more right on about the way that prosperity is being sold to the third world. It literally makes me sick.
