As a pastor, writer, activist, and scholar, I believe that our society and the Church are strengthened by constructive dialogue around the issues of faith and theology, justice and politics, and transparent yet gracious conversations about our shortcomings. We must be a people that thoughtfully and graciously engage in these conversations rather than shutting them down.
